Auditions for the upcoming production of Kinky Boots, presented by New Stage Theatreworks, is coming May 14 & 15 at 7:00pm at The Studio at Theatre Tallahassee. The production will be presented on the main stage of Theatre Tallahassee this summer – July 7-9 and 14-16.

We are seeking a very diverse cast representative of our community – with a wide range of ages, types and ethnicities. A full character breakdown from the script is available below. Additional information about the show’s plot and a character breakdown is available on our Audition page.

Those wishing to audition should prepare a vocal selection no longer than one minute. Please bring sheet music for the pianist as accompaniment will be provided. For these auditions, you will also be asked to sing selections from the show (we will teach them to you, of course). Callbacks will be by invitation only on May 16 – where we will also ask you to learn a dance routine and give out scene sides to read.

So, ladies and gentlemen (and those who have yet to make up their minds), we look forward to seeing you either May 14 or 15 at 7:00pm. Bring a friend or three – and go ahead and feel free to fill out and print our audition form in advance.
