Announcing Auditions for “The Last Five Years”

Join us for auditions for Jason Robert Brown’s incredible love story “The Last Five Years”, presented by New Stage Theatreworks, on Saturday, May 16 at 4:00pm and Sunday, May 17 at 7:00pm at the Theatre Tallahassee Coffeehouse.

Those attending these auditions will be expected to sing about 16 bars of their own song (bring your own sheet music – an accompanist will be provided). Following the initial round, everyone will be taught and sing selections from the show with some fun twists and turns.

NST is looking to fill the following roles with excellent singers/actors:

CATHERINE HIATT (Female, 25-35):
Character arcs from an ambitious, fresh-faced girl in a new relationship to a woman stunned by a betrayal and a divorce that she is only beginning to understand.
Vocal Range: F3 – D#5

JAMIE WELLERSTEIN (Male, 25-35):
Character arcs from an ambitious guy on a promising first date with a dazzling career to someone who is blinded by success and ego. He is very lovable, yet makes unintentional choices that sabotages his own happiness.
Vocal Range: A2 – Bb4

If you have one, please bring a headshot and resume (although this is not a requirement). Callbacks will be by invitation only on Monday, May 18 at 7:00pm.
